Pee Pee!! Whoopee!!!

Well, we went to my husband's 20th reunion over this past weekend and wow...some people apparently FORGOT that they're 20 years OLDER and no longer in high school anymore. Drunk, sick people everywhere...at least they made this reunion memorable, so THANK YOU!! :)

We came home very late (or EARLY Sunday morning! Actually it was 1a...haven't been out that late in a LONG time!!), and we had to pick Jason up from our friend's house. Jake was just going to spend the night there, but I like my friend too much to have her experience the 'wrath of Jason' when he wakes up in the middle of the night and decides to scream and cry - just because. So we brought him home and of course, he didn't wanna sleep in his crib. Oh no. Why would he? It's late, Mom and Dad are tired - why shouldn't he cry his head off? Hmmmm...So we brought him in the bed with us to sleep. Later on (around 8a), I hear this tiny little voice say "Mom..." YES, "MOM." That alone made me wanna jump outta bed for joy!! So I rolled over and there he was, lying on his pillow, just smiling away - the best sight ever to wake up to!! But THEN...this is what he SAID/DID...

Jason: "Pssssss..."
ME: "What is 'psssss?"
Jason: Pee Pee (has never said this on his own!!)
ME: PEE PEE?! Did you go pee pee?
Jason: Yeah...
ME: Where's your pee pee?
And he pointed at the front of his diaper (or his 'dingle' as we like to call his wiener in our house).
ME: Fred!! FRED (my husband's name is Kevin - where "Fred" came from, it's hard to say!) HE JUST TOLD ME HE WENT PEE!!!!!

And of course, my hubby having indulged himself the night prior, just 'grunted' - "hmmmmm..." MEN!!! But, a few minutes later, Jason 'got him' for not being 'excited' by kicking him right in the back and "yelling" "DAAA DAAAAAAA!!" GOOD MORNING, FRED!!!

I told our ST and she was like, "Oh WOW!! That's HUGE!!" So I am very impressed and proud of my little man!! :)

I've been really trying to work on two words with him...not quite getting it. For example, I'll say "Help, Mama..." and he'll just say either help or mama, not both together. Tonite he said "noodles" - it sounded more like 'noo-no's' but that's good enough for me! :)

His fave characters on Sesame Street are Elmo (of course...ugh) and the Count. Yes, the Count. Whenever he sees a "dracula" (like in Halloween decorations), he likes to say "Ahhh ahhh ahhhhhhh..." I gotta look online and see if I can find some "Count" toys or 'stuffed Counts.' Everything in the stores is Elmo, Ernie, Cookie, etc...

Alright - time for bed. It's 10p and it's 'early' for me to go to bed! :)
